Start on clean skin with a facial oil or serum, so the tools glide instead of pulling.

Switch to the board and hold it at roughly a 15 degree angle, working from the centre of the face towards the hairline, then down the neck to the collarbone.
Rinse both pieces in warm water with a little mild soap and dry them.
